Product Description

Botanical Crescent Arch | Fern Eucalyptus Greenery Moon Gate

Xibo Floral · Botanical Greenery Collection

Botanical Crescent Arch – Fern Eucalyptus Greenery Moon Gate

Two free-standing crescent pillars made entirely of foliage – no flowers. Deep forest-green fern fronds as the body (about 60%), mid-green mixed foliage as the transition (about 30%), and fresh yellow-green new growth as the light (about 10%). The left pillar stands straight and shorter; the right pillar rises higher and curves outward at the top, like a crescent moon. Three checks go into every set: the green color-step check (three distinct greens, not one raincoat green), the leaf-direction check (branches grow the way they want, not combed like a wig), and the no-flower weight check (foliage is about 30% lighter than flowers, so the weighted base goes from 1.5kg to 2.0kg per pillar). Powder coated frame and weighted base included. Factory direct, Henan China.

Botanical Crescent Arch Fern Eucalyptus Greenery Moon Gate Outdoor Wedding Ceremony No Flowers

Our Story – "I Don't Want a Single Rose. I Want It to Look Like It Grew Here."

We have shipped flower arches for fifteen years. Roses, peonies, hydrangeas, baby's breath. Thousands of them. Then came the email that changed what we thought a wedding arch could be.

June 2026. Copenhagen. A wedding planner wrote to us. Her bride was finishing a PhD in botany. The venue was a glass-walled greenhouse on the outskirts of the city – ferns outside, ferns inside. The bride told the planner: "I don't want a single rose. I want it to look like it grew here." The planner forwarded that sentence to me. She said, "Kupeng, can you make an arch with no flowers? Just leaves? Real leaves, fake leaves – I don't care. But it has to look like it belongs in this greenhouse."

I called Lao Zhou that day. Lao Zhou runs flower inspection. Twelve years. I read him the email. He was quiet for a moment. Then he said, "No flowers. That's a different problem." He was right. A flower arch hides mistakes in the blooms. A leaf arch doesn't – every leaf is visible, every shade of green reads, and if one branch points the wrong way, you notice it.

The first thing we discovered was the green problem. If you pile fern fronds and eucalyptus and mixed leaves together, they all go to one color – a flat, muddy, raincoat green. Lao Zhou held up three sample bunches against the white wall. Deep forest green. Mid green. Fresh yellow-green new growth. "These are three different greens," he said. "If they melt into one, it looks like a shower curtain. We have to keep them separate." That became the green color-step check: deep forest green fern as the body at about 60%, mid-green mixed foliage as the transition at about 30%, and fresh yellow-green new growth as the light at about 10%. A batch where the mid-green disappears into the deep green gets taken apart and re-tiered. About 14% of botanical batches fail this check – slightly more than our flower arches, because green is harder to separate than red.

The second problem was direction. Zhao, our welder of nine years, was watching the sample stand. He said, "Look at a real fern in the forest. The fronds don't all point the same way. They reach for light, they droop, they cross." Our first prototype had every branch pointing outward, evenly, like a bald man combing his hair to the side. Zhao called it "the wig." We re-placed every branch by hand – some reach up, some droop down, some cross the pillar, some stay tucked. The leaf-direction check: step back. If it looks combed, it gets re-placed. "Leaves grow the way they want," Zhao says. "We're not a barber. We're a forest."

The third problem we didn't expect at all. Wang Lei, our QC of eight years, was testing the base on a windy day outside the factory. The flower arches weigh more – the blooms are dense, the head is heavy, the 1.5kg weighted base holds them steady. But a leaf arch is about 30% lighter. The same wind that doesn't move a rose arch pushed the leaf arch about five degrees. Wang Lei called me. "Kupeng, the no-flower arch is light on top. It's going to tip at an outdoor wedding." We redesigned the base: 1.5kg → 2.0kg per pillar. The flared pocket is the same, but the weight plate is thicker. We now test every botanical arch in the same wind lane outside the factory for two minutes. If it moves, it doesn't ship. That's the no-flower weight check.

The Copenhagen wedding happened in July 2026. The planner sent us a photo. The crescent arch stood at the end of the greenhouse aisle, fern fronds catching the glass light, the right pillar curving up like the moon. The bride walked through it. No roses. No white flowers. Nothing but green. The planner wrote: "It grew here." Three words. That's the whole review.

This is our botanical crescent arch. Deep forest-green fern fronds as the body at 60% – the dark, confident green. Mid-green mixed foliage as the transition at 30% – the green you actually see in a forest. Fresh yellow-green new growth at 10% – the light, the tips that reach for the sun. The left pillar stands straight and shorter. The right pillar rises higher and curves outward at the top. The green color-step check applies. The leaf-direction check applies. The no-flower weight check applies. About 1 in 7 botanical sets fails final QC – the checks are strict because a leaf arch has nowhere to hide. Lao Zhou says "green is not one color. It's three. And if the leaves look combed, you're not in a forest – you're in a wig shop." I like that. We build the forest, not the wig. Every single set.

What Matters

🌿

The Green Color-Step Check

Three distinct greens, not one raincoat green: deep forest fern at 60% (the body), mid-green mixed foliage at 30% (the transition), fresh yellow-green new growth at 10% (the light). A batch where the greens melt into one gets re-tiered. About 14% of botanical batches fail this check. "Green is not one color. It's three."

🍃

The Leaf-Direction Check

Every branch is placed by hand the way it grows – some reach up, some droop, some cross the pillar, some tuck in. If it looks combed (Zhao calls it "the wig"), it gets re-placed. "Leaves grow the way they want. We're not a barber. We're a forest."

⚖️

The No-Flower Weight Check

Foliage is about 30% lighter than flowers, so the weighted base goes from 1.5kg to 2.0kg per pillar. Every botanical arch is tested in the wind lane outside the factory for two minutes. If it moves, it doesn't ship. Outdoor weddings shouldn't gamble on the weather.

📦

The Frame Is in the Box

Always. Since 2020. Each pillar breaks into three pieces. About ten minutes. No tools. Deep green powder coating – "green hides in green." Zhao's mix: a shade greyer than forest green, so the frame disappears into the foliage.

How It's Made

Frame
25mm iron tube, 1.5mm wall, crescent curved pillar frame welded with a flared base pocket. Deep green powder coating – Zhao's mix, greyer than forest green, disappears under the foliage. Each pillar breaks into three pieces. Weighted base upgraded to 2.0kg per pillar (up from 1.5kg on flower arches) because foliage is about 30% lighter.
Fern Fronds
Deep forest-green fern fronds – the body at about 60%. The dark, confident green that reads as "forest." The color-step check: fern must read as deep green, not black, not yellow. A fern bunch that reads too dark gets set aside for a different tier.
Mixed Foliage
Mid-green mixed foliage – eucalyptus round leaves, olive sprigs, herbaceous branches – the transition at about 30%. The green you actually see in a forest, not the postcard version. The color-step check: mid-green must sit visibly between the deep fern and the yellow tips, not melt into either.
New Growth
Fresh yellow-green new growth – the light at about 10%. The tips that reach for the sun, scattered through the upper half of each pillar. The color-step check: yellow-green reads as fresh, not lime, not neon. Too much and the arch looks like a lime Jell-O salad.
Leaf Direction
Every branch is placed by hand. Some fronds reach up toward the curve. Some droop down along the stem. Some cross the pillar. Some tuck in tight. Zhao checks each pillar: step back. If all branches point the same way, it's "the wig" – re-placed. A forest doesn't part its hair on the side.
Weight Test
Every botanical arch goes to the wind lane outside the factory for two minutes. Fan on medium. If the pillar moves more than a few degrees, the base gets checked. We lost about three arches to this check in June 2026 before we settled on the 2.0kg plate. Now it holds.
Tying
A botanical crescent set takes about 8 hours of hand work – longer than a flower arch, because there's no bloom to hide the joints. Every stem is tucked, every frond is angled. Lao Zhou says "a flower arch forgives. A leaf arch doesn't. You see every mistake, so you have to make none."
QC
12 checkpoints. Plus the green color-step check (three distinct greens, no raincoat green – about 14% of botanical batches get re-tiered). Plus the leaf-direction check (no "wig" pillars). Plus the no-flower weight check (wind lane, two minutes). About 1 in 7 botanical sets fails final QC. Wang Lei says "a leaf arch has nowhere to hide. The bride's botanist friends will notice."
Packaging
Each pillar breaks into three pieces – two cartons per set, 130×30×25cm each. Fern fronds wrapped in tissue to protect the delicate tips. Damage rate about 3% (slightly lower than flower arches – leaves are tougher than petals).
Note: The Standard tier uses slightly lighter fern density – the three-green color-step still leads, the structure still holds, but the arch is built for value. Premium and Luxury add density, more eucalyptus, and a fuller crescent curve. The green color-step check, the leaf-direction check and the no-flower weight check apply to every tier.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a botanical greenery crescent arch cost?
Per set (both pillars): $198 (2.0m Standard) to $518 (2.8m Luxury). The complete matrix is above. The frame is included in every price – we've included the frame since 2020. Prices are valid through December 31, 2027.
What's the minimum order quantity?
MOQ is 1 set for stock sizes (2.0m / 2.4m / 2.8m). For custom foliage mixes, custom shapes, or full custom projects, MOQ is 2 sets. For full custom corporate projects, MOQ is 5 sets with a design review.
What size do I need for 100 or 150 guests?
For 80–120 guests, the 2.4m set (190 + 230cm) is the standard ceremony size – the taller pillar reaches about eye-level-plus for photos. For 150+ guests or a wide aisle, go 2.8m (230 + 270cm). For intimate weddings under 80 guests, 2.0m works. The crescent shape frames the ceremony without blocking the view of the couple.
How long does production take?
Stock sets: 7–15 days. Custom foliage mix: 20–25 days. Custom shape: 25–30 days. Full custom: 25–35 days. International shipping adds another 8–18 days depending on your country. If you have a firm wedding date, tell us the date first and we'll work backward.
Do you ship to [my country]? How long does shipping take?
Yes. We ship to the US, Canada, UK, EU, Australia, New Zealand, Middle East, and most of Southeast Asia. Standard international shipping is 8–18 days by sea freight (most cost-effective) or 5–8 days by air (faster, higher cost). We'll quote both options when you contact us.
Is the metal frame included in the price?
Yes. The frame, the flared base pocket, the 2.0kg weighted plate, and the quick-connect fittings are all included in the price. Since 2020. We don't sell the arch without the frame – a leaf arch needs the weight plate to stay upright, especially outdoors. If you see another supplier quoting a lower price, ask whether the frame is included or extra.
I want no flowers now – but can I add roses later if I change my mind?
Yes. The frame and the foliage density support additional flower bundles. Many of our clients buy the botanical arch as a base and add rose bundles (we sell them separately) for a different wedding season or anniversary event. The foliage mix is designed to work both ways – all green, or green with accent flowers.
How do I assemble it? Do I need tools?
No tools. Each pillar breaks into three pieces. Push the quick-connect fittings together – you'll hear a click. Slot the flared weighted base onto the bottom. Fluff the fronds by hand. About 10 minutes for the set. The full step-by-step is in the How-To on this page.
Is it suitable for outdoor weddings?
Yes. That's exactly what the no-flower weight check is for. The 2.0kg weighted base (upgraded from the standard 1.5kg on flower arches) and the wind-lane test keep the arch steady in a moderate breeze. Ground stakes are included. For very exposed beach or rooftop venues with high wind, we recommend the 2.8m set with the heavier base. Foliage is UV-stable for 1–1.5 years before noticeable fading.
Does it work for corporate events and hotel lobbies, not just weddings?
Absolutely. The all-green botanical look is popular for hotel entrances, corporate launch events, museum openings, garden parties, spa backdrops, and restaurant interiors. It reads natural and high-end without being romantic, which is why it works in non-wedding spaces. We've done sets for a Copenhagen greenhouse wedding, a Berlin hotel lobby, and a Miami gallery opening.
How do I clean and store the foliage arch?
Dust: low-pressure air or a gentle shake – the fern fronds are delicate, a soft brush works best. Spots: damp cloth with mild soap, pat gently. Don't soak – the glue on the stem joints weakens. Don't use alcohol or abrasive cleaners. Store in a cool dry place away from direct sun. With proper care the set lasts 1–2 years. If a frond loosens, a dab of glue from behind fixes it.
What's the difference between Standard, Premium, and Luxury?
Standard: standard fern density, the three-green color-step still leads, built for value. Premium: denser foliage, more eucalyptus round leaves, fuller crescent curve, about 15% more volume. Luxury: maximum density, premium fern varieties, hand-picked new growth tips, the fullest crescent curve, and a thicker weight plate. The green color-step check, leaf-direction check, and no-flower weight check apply to every tier.
Where are you based? How long have you been making these?
We're Henan Xibo Flower Art Co., Ltd. – 4000 square meters, 15 years (founded 2011), 40+ staff, based in Zhengzhou, China. Founder Kupeng Yang writes every product page himself. We've been including the frame in the price since 2020. The Copenhagen greenhouse wedding in July 2026 was our first all-botanical (no-flower) crescent set, but we've been making foliage arches for weddings and events since 2020.
Can I order a sample before placing a bulk order?
Yes. We ship sample frond bundles (a small box of the actual fern, eucalyptus, and new-growth mix) so you can see the green tone and leaf quality before committing to a full set. Contact us for the sample cost and shipping. Most clients who order a sample end up ordering a full set within two weeks.
What if a frond or the frame arrives damaged?
Our damage rate is about 3% (slightly lower than flower arches because leaves are tougher than petals). If anything arrives damaged, send us photos within 7 days of delivery. We ship replacement fronds or a replacement frame piece at no cost. For orders over 3 sets we recommend optional shipping insurance – it's about 3% of the order value and covers everything.
Do you offer wholesale pricing for rental companies or resellers?
Yes. We supply wedding rental companies, event planners, hotel chains, Amazon sellers and florist studios. Every wholesale quote is built around your quantity and destination – we don't publish discount tiers because every order is different. Contact us with how many sets you need and your destination country, and we'll send our best EXW price within 24 hours.
Can you do OEM / private label / custom packaging with our brand?
Yes. We do neutral packaging, custom labels with your brand, custom Pantone color matching, and production from your own design mock-ups. Your logo on the carton, ours doesn't have to be visible. MOQ for custom packaging depends on your requirement – send us your spec sheet and we'll confirm.
What trade terms and payment methods do you accept?
We typically quote EXW Zhengzhou. FOB Ningbo/Qingdao, CIF or DDP available on request. For custom orders: 30–50% deposit upon confirmation, balance before shipment. We prefer T/T bank transfer; L/C at sight available for large orders. PayPal and credit card for samples. Our Hong Kong account via WorldFirst is open for international wire.
What certifications do your products have?
Standard certifications are in place: REACH compliance, UV-stable materials, fire-retardant options available. If your destination country requires specific certification (UK CA, EU CE, US fire code, etc.), tell us what you need and we arrange it before production.

An Arch That Looks Like It Grew There

We're Xibo Floral. 4000 square meters. 15 years. Henan, China. Founder Kupeng Yang – that's me. I wrote every word of this page myself. No AI. Just me, a keyboard, and an email from a Copenhagen wedding planner in June 2026: "I don't want a single rose. I want it to look like it grew here." (Okay, spellchecker. But just spellchecker. The words are mine.)

That email changed what we thought an arch could be. We built three checks that don't exist on any other arch in our catalog: the green color-step check – three distinct greens (deep forest 60%, mid 30%, fresh yellow 10%), not one raincoat green; about 14% of botanical batches get re-tiered. The leaf-direction check – every frond placed the way it grows, some up, some drooping, some crossing; if it looks combed, it's "the wig" and gets re-placed. The no-flower weight check – foliage is 30% lighter than flowers, so the base goes from 1.5kg to 2.0kg; every set tested in the factory wind lane for two minutes. The Copenhagen bride walked through our arch in July 2026. The planner sent two words: "It grew here."

If you want a botanical crescent arch that looks like it belongs in your venue – a greenhouse, a garden, a glass-walled hall, a hotel lobby, a gallery opening – contact us. Tell us about your space: is it outdoor or indoor? Sunny or shaded? A wedding, a corporate event, a hotel entrance? The green tone should match the light. Tell us the height you need – 2.0, 2.4, or 2.8 meters. Tell us if you want pure green or green with future flower options. Most suppliers ship flower arches. We'll ship you a forest. Every single set.

Contact Us for Your Botanical Greenery Crescent Arch

P.S. Copenhagen planner, thank you. "It grew here" is the best review we've ever received. The three-green chart is on Lao Zhou's wall now – deep forest on the left, mid in the middle, fresh yellow on the right, with his handwriting: "Green is not one color. It's three." Also – we now include a small care card with every botanical set: "Don't comb the leaves. Don't soak the fronds. Don't let the wind test you. If a frond loosens, a dab of glue from behind fixes it." Small thing. But after Copenhagen, I never want a botanist bride to look at an arch and see a wig. Leaves should grow. Every single set.
